Manutencoop at SAIE 2014 with the University of Bologna

Building Quality Evaluation (BQE), a methodology for analysing the overall quality of buildings, will be presented in association with CIRI- Edilizia e Costruzioni, the University of Bologna Inter-Departmental Centre for Industrial Research.

Manutencoop Facility Management will be attending the 2014 SAIE, Built Environment Exhibition, in Bologna on 22-25 October, together with CIRI- Edilizia e Costruzioni, the University of Bologna Inter-Departmental Centre for Industrial Research. CIRI, in association with Manutencoop, has developed the Building Quality Evaluation (BQE), a methodology designed to assess the overall quality of a building and to identify the most significant intervention areas in order to enhance and manage the property.

The methodology is based on the integrated analysis of 3 classes (performance, maintenance, environmental), each of which is made up of 2 thematic areas (seismic performance - energy performance, construction components - systems components, urban quality - environmental safety). The assessments are formulated on the basis of national regulations and established benchmarks as a guarantee of the reliability and traceability of the data. The final result is communicated through an index number, the BQE, which, through the processing of corresponding matrixes, discloses the overall quality assessment of the building.

Manutencoop and Ciri look forward to seeing you at Pavilion 26 – Research Centres Area.
